As Clou is primarily based online, all you need to do is go to www.clou.com.sg log in to your account and go on to choose the item/s you’d like to get, add the item/s in your virtual shopping cart, and check out. Complete your payment by choosing your preferred payment method. Once payment is complete and received on our end, you should receive an email detailing your order and delivery status. You may do the above without creating an account, however it is highly recommended to make an account and log in when making an order to make the process more seamless and for your order history to be available for whenever you might want to have a look at it.
As of now, Clou is primarily based online and as such we do not offer any physical viewing of the products. However, we understand that jewellery is a precious and very sentimental item to purchase and as such we provide multiple photos and videos of all our products, from various angles so you can easily see how a product looks. Additionally all details about a product is listed on the product’s page, so you have access to all the information you might need. If you still have any queries, feel free to reach out to us via email or the query form on the website.

You select a stone you like from our collection OR tell us what kind of stone you’d like for us to get for you.|
You select an existing setting you like OR show us what you have in mind (doesn’t need to be exact, since we will discuss the setting in detail and do sketches)|
We meet and discuss in further detail what you’re interested in. If you’d like to see the stones in person, we can display a choice of up to 5 similar stones, and 5 unrelated stones should you want to see some other type/colour/cut/etc of gemstone. This number is fixed to ensure that you don’t suffer choice fatigue and can pick your favourite based on your style and desire. We will also discuss settings and your mood board.|
We get sketching and show you a rough sketch based on what we discuss. If you are satisfied, and wish to proceed, we will begin the project after a 50% deposit on the estimated final price of the product.|
We will then do a more detailed sketch based on the discussion. You are eligible for a one time free of charge redesign or edit on the design.|
Once sketch is finalised, we will show you a CAD* design of the ring so you can have a look at the ring in 3D and the final price of the end product.|
Once we have shown you the CAD we will simultaneously begin the making of your bespoke jewellery.|
After that is all about sitting tight and waiting for your precious piece/s to reach you!
*CAD refers to Computer-Aided Design, a digital software technology used by jewellery designers to create precise and detailed virtual models of jewellery pieces.If the design is from our ready to wear collection, please drop us an email at enquire@clou.com.sg and we will try to aid you and get you the same design in the metal/gemstone of your choice.
In some cases, if it’s a gemstone you’d like to change, it would take longer and may not always be possible due to gemstone hardness and/or design limitations. In such a case we would try to either suggest gemstones that have a similar colour/cut/vibe, or we can suggest similar pieces that give the same look as the piece you like.
If the design is under our special one of a kind collections, it will fall under semi-bespoke and you can get in touch with us at bespoke@clou.com.sg . Please mention Semi-Bespoke in the Title of your email so we can aid you accordingly. As with gemstones in any redesign, please note that in certain cases due to gemstone hardness level or design limitations we may not be able to offer the same design to you. This is to ensure that your jewellery and gemstone is secure and in a design it is best held in. In such a case, we can suggest similar looking gemstones or designs where your gemstone of choice would be better suited.
For one-of-a-kind pieces, we cannot make the same piece again due to the novelty of both the design and the materials used in it. In most cased, one-of-a-kind pieces with gemstones are made with extremely special finds which might be difficult to find a second one of, unless they come in pairs.
That said, we can always help design a very similar piece with another gemstone for you. We can search for a similar stone, however each gemstone, be it natural or lab-created, is affected differently by the conditions in which it is made, no one stone will ever be exactly the same. This is what makes gemstones, especially coloured gemstones special. As such, we can always suggest a gemstone that can meet your desire closely or might even surpass your initial idea by following your style more closely.

*OFAK refers to One of a Kind
Majority of Clou products are made in 18K Gold* - be it Yellow, White, or Rose Gold. Certain pieces, such as signet rings may be available in 14K* Gold due to its further hardiness. We also use Platinum* on request or for some pieces. Whatever metal is used, it will be mentioned clearly in the listing so you’re always aware of what you’re getting. In cases where a piece is available in more than one kind of precious metal, the amount and/or types will be mentioned in the listing for you to easily choose whichever style you prefer.
*18K Gold is 75% pure gold, and 25% other metals. This is considered by most in the jewellery industry to offer the best combination of purity and longevity. It is perfect for daily wear, gifting and for heirloom pieces.
*14K gold is 58.3% pure gold, and 41.7% other metals. Due to the presence of a higher percentage of alloys, this composition of Gold is sturdier and can withstand more heavy-duty work and physical exertion without needing much care. Good for men’s rings or for those who are inclined to more hands-on activities.
*Platinum is a naturally occurring and highly prized precious metal that is "white" in colour. It is rarer than gold, and much heavier and harder. Because of its hardness, platinum can be used in an almost pure form at 95%. Good for both daily wear, heirloom pieces, and even physical work.
Yes, all Clou Products come with a 1-year warranty. At Clou Fine Jewellery, we subject each of our products to rigorous standards of quality. Each piece is manufactured using only the most premium materials and methods of craftsmanship. We carefully inspect each item to ensure that it meets our strict criterion before shipping it to you.
In the rare event that you find an imperfection or defect, we invite you to send it back to us to be inspected by one of our master jewellers. If the defect is determined to have occurred during the manufacturing process, we'll replace or repair the item at no cost to you. If Clou Fine Jewellery determines that the damage was due to normal wear-and-tear, meaning, it is not caused by a manufacturing defect, then we will notify you and let you know if repair services are available at cost or otherwise.
(Please note we do not replace damaged, lost or missing diamonds and gems from rings or settings.)
Clou Fine Jewellery cannot guarantee the work of another jeweller.
Please note that slight irregularities and variations in craftsmanship or natural characteristics, or internal inclusions, visible or otherwise, in coloured gemstones are unique and individual to each item. These characteristics are considered as part of the character of the item, and should not be considered a defect.
Maintenance, repair, sizing or other service performed by someone other than Clou Fine Jewellery will void your Warranty.
Fine jewellery is not impervious to normal wear, activities or trauma. This is particularly true for rings since hands are regularly subjected to considerable abuse. We do not provide warranties for damage due to normal wear, product loss, loss of stones or theft.
Some Examples Of Common Jewellery Issues That Would Not Be Considered Manufacturing Defects Include
- Discolouration due to wear, and exposure to chemicals, make-up, swimming pools, hot tubs or bathing.
- Prongs and precious metals, in general, wear over time and may require building up or restoration work as normal wear.
- Bent, caught or worn out prong(s) allowing a stone to fall out or be lost due to normal wear or other damage.
- Lost stone or a stone has fallen out due to chipping or breaking caused by normal wear or other damage.
Change in size
As we grow our body changes as well. As such, We are happy to offer a one-time resize on your ring, free of charge. Just drop us a message, arrange to bring the item to the office and we will happily assist you.
Much like all things out there, the value of your gemstone ultimately depends on the market demand. It is crucial to recognise that most individuals purchase jewellery for the pleasure of wearing it, rather than as an investment. As with any item, if a stone is acquired, set into a ring, and worn regularly, its value may slightly diminish over time.
That said, it is worth noting that coloured stones have experienced notable price appreciation over the past 10 to 15 years. Therefore, it is not unreasonable to anticipate that the ring you purchase today for your personal enjoyment could retain its value, or even appreciate, in the coming years.
We sincerely hope that your Clou Fine Jewellery orders always bring you joy. However, in the rare event that you are not fully satisfied, we gladly accept returns in exchange for store credit.
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. Additionally, please ensure you have the receipt or proof of purchase on hand.
To initiate a return, please reach out to us at enquiry@clou.com.sg . If your return is approved, we will provide you with a return shipping label, along with detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that we cannot accept items that are sent back to us without a prior return authorisation.
In the case that you are based outside of Singapore, and getting the item to us will take longer than 7 days, please email us at enquiry@clou.com.sg and we will try to assist you.
